The short version

Your recordings and transcripts are saved in your account, so you can open them from any device. We do not read them, sell them, or train anything on them, and we instruct our providers not to either.

What is stored, and where

Service providers

We use service providers to operate the app. They receive only the information needed for their role:

Using the app without an account

The mobile app can be tried without an account. An anonymous identifier is created so that limited use can be counted. It is not tied to your name, your email, or your device's advertising identifier, and it becomes your account, with its recordings, if you sign up. The website requires an account.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses optional analytics cookies to count visits by default. You can turn them off in your cookie preferences. Essential cookies remain on for sign-in and site performance. Page addresses are reported without any transcript identifier. Analytics services do not receive recordings or transcript content. You can change your choice in Settings. The mobile app has no analytics and no advertising.

Your rights

You can export everything you have made at any time, from the app, without asking. You can delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes the account, its recordings, transcripts, brand kit and counters.

Depending on where you live (for example Canada, the UK or the EU) you also have the right to access, correct, and object to processing of your data, and to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The service is not intended for children under 13.
